All health freaks, get together, because I found the perfect protein shake recipe!
Since I bought a big amount of vanilla flavoured protein powder, I tried to create many different recipes with it. But mixing it with water and just sip it out of a bottle was not the way for me (is there anyone that doesn’t think it tastes bad?). Therefore, I experimented with different ingredients and… here it is: my favourite protein shake so far!
Little disclaimer: I’m not a nutritionist, so I would never say this is the perfect shake to drink if you want to gain muscles or loose weight. I just find it important to eat healthy things that still taste good!
(for two glasses)
- 1 mango
- 3hands of blueberries (frozen or fresh)
- 2 spoons of protein powder vanilla flavour
- 3 spoons of low-fat quark
- 100 ml water
Slice the mango and wash the blueberries (if they’re not frozen). Then just mix it all together and you’re done! If you use frozen blueberries, just make sure you mix them first with the water and then add all the other ingredients.
