To me, the easiest meal to eat on a healthy way, is breakfast. As a real fruit lover, I like to variate with many different ingredients and sometimes, I find a perfect combination. Find my 3 favourite healthy breakfasts in this post!
Blueberry vanilla pancakes
Nothing better than having pancakes for breakfast in the weekend. To keep it healthy, I make a mix of almond milk, eggs, buckwheat flower, spelt flower and last but not least: biological vanilla powder. Do you want to have some more proteins in your meal? Add some whey protein powder (vanilla), also highly recommended! Afterwards, you can stir the blueberries in the mix. Pour it in a pan and when the edges are getting solid, turn the pancake around. If you like it sweet, you could sprinkle a little honey on it.
If I don’t want to have a green juice in the morning, I choose to make a chocolate shake: still healthy and still liquid, but in my opinion, much tastier! Mix the following ingredients in a blender:
- 250 ml (almond/soy/normal) milk
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tbsp lineseed
- 2 tbsp oatmeal
- Optional: 1 tsp Maca powder
I have made this breakfast a million times, but I still enjoy it when I make myself a bowl. Boil the oats with milk and add a sliced apple, raisins, cinnamon, lineseed and some walnuts or pecan nuts on top. A real homemade applepie!
