Bali is heaven if you like healthy food! Especially around Canggu and Seminyak health lovers can enjoy a great range of hotspots. From scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, acai bowls or healthy pancakes: they had it all. But the peanutbutter banana bowl of Nalu bowls stole my heart, and that’s why I tried to remake this healthy and sweet breakfast. It’s not exactly the same, but the Nalu Bowls recipe really inspired me to make this bowl. And it’s so easy to do! Read, make and judge yourself.
- 150 ml soy milk
- 1,5 banana (of which 1 frozen)
- 1 tbsp crunchy peanutbutter
- Homemade granola: oats, unsalted peanuts, honey, cinnamon and a tbsp of olive oil
- Tip: cinnamon and honey, to create the best taste!
How to make:
For the granola: mix oats, unsalted peanuts, honey, cinnamon and a tbsp of olive oil together and bake it in the oven for 15 minutes on 180 degrees.
Put the frozen banana in the blender and keep on blending with 50 ml soy milk until it’s smashed. Add cinnamon and honey to it and stir the peanutbutter through it. When the mass is smooth, you’re done. Pour it into a nice bowl and add 100 ml soy milk. Put the granola and banana on top. That’s it!
