Since I have my own place to live, I’m more into plants and flowers. I love to fill my room with a little nature. That’s probably why my mom bought me a package of ‘Bag to nature’ from Seedforfood with different seeds to plant.
Seedforfood has produced these packages in collaboration with Natuurmonumenten. With this initiative they try to get people closer to nature and promote qualitative good food.
There are different kinds of packages, but mine exists of Magical Mint, Bizarre Basilicum, Rock ‘n Rucola and Delightful Field bouquet. The great thing is that you can plant the seeds in the box itself, so you don’t need to buy extra pots to plant your seeds in. Plus, the package is fully recyclable.
Let’s put it to the test! I decided to try the Delightful Field bouquet first.
This is what it looks like when you open the package. The little bag is filled with natural pressed coconut ground and there are two things included: biological bulbs and the field bouquet seeds.
The bulbs have to be sprinkled over the ground. Then add 400 ml of water. Afterwards, you can sprinkle the field bouquet seeds over the rest of the ground. Press the seeds a little bit into the ground and then you’re already finished! After 10 weeks you can haverst your little plant.
I think this is a perfect way to create your own vegetables and herbs. It’s really easy and fun to do and if you do it the right way, you’ll also be eating natural and healthy food.
